A detailed itinerary
Day 1-2: The journey begins at Chengdu where you will be visiting the largest and oldest Taoist temple, Qingyang Gong along with the Sanxingdui site.
Day 3: You will arrive at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Dujiangyan and also get to admire pandas at a local reserve.
Day 4-5: Driving through Sichuan, you will arrive at Danba where you can enjoy a good morning walk.
Day 6-7: On the sixth day, you will reach Mt Siguniang by driving up the twisting roads. Relish the sight of an amazing woodland in Shuangqiao valley and a hike across the Changping Valley.
Day8: You will drive to Zhokjye, pass through stunning landscapes and reach Hongyuan town.
Day 9-10: In the morning, you will drive past the Zorge Grasslands and reach Tangke town and Wache Stupa. Then, the journey will continue to Langmusi where you will halt at night. Start your next day by sightseeing Langmusi with a visit to Sezhi Monastery and Geerdeng Monastery.
Day 11-12: By day eleven, you will arrive at Zecha Stone Forest where you can enjoy a picnic and a gentle hike through grasslands. The next day, reach Xiahe, a country rich in Han and Hui traditions along with Tibetan culture. You will tour around the Labrang Monastery, and then, head towards Ganjia.
Day 13-14: You will descend from the plateau and drive to Liujiaxia Lake. Tour around the UNESCO World Heritage Bingling Grottoes, and then, head towards Lanzhou, marking it the end of the tour.
