Holy land Tibet has always been a mystery to trekking lovers. A breathtaking place lying in the shadow of royal Himalayas offers wonderful opportunities for trekkers. If you really want to explore Tibet, then trekking is a best for it. By trekking you will get an opportunity to enjoy the amazing landscapes of Tibet.

Things you need while trekking:

You will need a sleeping bag, a tent, a stove, and warm clothes to remain warm and well fed in Tibet. You can purchase or rent these items from Tibet’s capital Lhasa. Also, do not forget to take water with you.

Food

Even if you have planned to stay with Tibetans, you should always bring enough food for the trip. You can buy non-perishable foods from local Tibetan supermarkets for trekking. You can also carry chips, chocolate, dry fruits and noodles with you. Avoid rice as it consumes a lot of fuel in cooking.

Best time to visit:

You can go throughout the year except extreme winter seasons. Usually, the most suitable time for trekking in Tibet is from April to October because these months do not experience much rain or snowfall.
